BC Book and Magazine Week (April 18-25), presented by the Association of Book Publishers of BC and the BC Association of Magazine Publishers, highlights the BC publishing industry by promoting the diverse and high-calibre work of the publishers and writers in BC.
Events include a promenade at the Vancouver Public Library; book launches; magazine cabarets in Vancouver, Victoria, Kelowna and Prince George; the annual Main Street Literary Tour; writing and publishing panels; and editorial consultations. It’s a celebration of not only the province’s cultural industry, but also of the readers who make BC books and magazines a part of their lives every day.
